Frequently asked questions
Which tone should I start with?
Start friendly the day after the due date. Most late payments are a missed email or a delay on the client's side. Move to firm after about a week or two, and use the final notice only when earlier messages were ignored.
Is it okay to say I will pause work?
Only if your quote or invoice terms said so or you have given clear notice. The tool has an optional line for it. Remove it if you do not mean it.
Does this tool send the email?
No. It writes the text in your browser. You copy it and send it from your own email or WhatsApp. Nothing you type is sent to us.
Is this legal advice?
No. For large amounts or a client who will not reply, talk to a lawyer where you live.
