The AI-native operating system for freelancers.
Every client, every project, every invoice — in one workspace built for a business of one. Quote the work, track it, invoice it, and give your clients a login of their own. AI drafts the parts nobody enjoys writing, so you spend your time on the work that actually pays.
Free · No credit card · Two-factor sign-in on every account

Run your client work like a real operation.
a2lance isn’t a to-do list wearing a new coat of paint. It is built around the two things every freelancer actually manages all day: the client, and getting paid by them.
One home for every client
Every client, every project, every open task — in one place instead of scattered across email, spreadsheets, and sticky notes.
Quote, invoice, get paid
Build a quote, turn it into an invoice, and mark it paid when the money lands. Work in your client's currency — a2lance never touches your money, so you keep your own Paystack, PayPal or bank details.
Your clients get their own login
Invite a client and they see their projects, progress and invoices in a portal of their own. No chasing, no “where are we on this?” email at 9pm.
AI does the busywork
Draft the scope, the proposal, the status update. You review and send — a2lance writes the first pass so you never start from a blank page.
Secure by default
Two-factor sign-in is on for every account, not buried in a settings page. Your invoices and your clients' details deserve more than a password.
Built for solo operators and small studios
No seat licences, no onboarding call, no bloat built for a sales team you don't have. Sized for one person — or a small crew — running a real business.
Managing clients is step one. Finding them is next.
Once the client-management core is solid, we're planning to add a way for a2lance to help surface new client opportunities directly inside the same workspace — so you're not juggling a separate tool to find the work in the first place. This is on the roadmap, not shipped yet, and it is not part of a2lance today.
- ✓ Client management workspace — building now
- ○ AI-assisted client sourcing — planned next
Built for freelancers, by freelancers.
a2lance started from a simple, familiar problem: running a freelance business means being your own ops team, and most tools out there are built for departments, not for one person. We’re building the version we wished existed — and shipping it in the open, with the freelancers who signed up early telling us what to build next.
Questions, answered honestly.
What is a2lance?
a2lance is an AI-native operating system for freelancers — a single workspace to manage your clients, track what each one needs, and let AI handle the repetitive parts of client communication.
Who is a2lance for?
Independent freelancers, solo consultants and small studios currently managing clients across email, spreadsheets and notes apps, who want one place built for how a small operation actually works.
Can I use a2lance today?
Yes. a2lance is open and free to sign up for at app.a2lance.com — no invite needed and no credit card. It is early access, so we are still building, and the people who join now shape what gets built next.
Will a2lance help me find new clients, not just manage existing ones?
Client-finding support is on our roadmap as a future addition. Client management is the current, working focus — the client-sourcing feature is upcoming and not part of early access yet.
How much does a2lance cost?
Free while we are in early access — sign up and use it, no card required. Paid plans are published so you can see where pricing is heading, but nothing is charged today and we will give plenty of notice before that changes.
Does a2lance handle invoicing?
Quotes and invoices, yes — build a quote, convert it to an invoice, track it, and mark it paid, in any currency. a2lance never holds your money: you connect your own Paystack, PayPal or bank details and your client pays you directly. Contracts are not part of it.
Ready to run your client work properly?
Free while we’re in early access. No credit card, no invite to wait for — and join the mailing list if you’d rather follow along first.
