CREDITS
- A2lance payment system is via Credit and Escrow system
- Employer will buy credits to fund the project
- The employer needs to fund the project to start the job after accepting a winning bid
- The insufficient fund would not allow the employer to receive a freelance request/bid, would need to buy credits
- Once the project is completed, the employer marked the project complete, and the fund will be released to the freelancer
- The employer can track their credit balance, transaction by clicking on their profile and my credit
- You can buy credit anytime, either via bank transfer or Paystack
- Note: if you use Paystack, we will deduct the Paystack transaction fee https://paystack.com/pricing
- Freelancer will get paid after the completion of the project, and the employer would need to mark the project complete before the fund can be release
- After the project marked completed, the credit will be transfer into your account
- You can withdraw your fund anytime, and you must provide your account details for us to transfer the fund to your account
- The freelancer can track their credit balance, transaction by clicking on their profile and my credit
- Escrow system provides confident for both freelancer and employer that:
- Freelancer will get paid after completion of the project and employer confirm the project is completed to his/her satisfaction
- Employer will get a competent job from the freelancer and protection in case the job is not complete
- A2lance platform make sure that the transaction is fair to both party and can come in to settle a dispute
- Both the freelancer and employer are protected under our Escrow system for managing disputation

- You can archive the job once the project already has bidders, however, we do not recommend this

- After you have confirmed that your bid has been removed, it will no longer show up under your “current projects”
- You can resubmit another bid if you would like to bid again

- However, if there is a dispute between you and employer, you can request a2lance to look into the matter

HOW TO

Note: To get paid as a freelancer you must complete a project and have the fund transfer to your a2lance credit account
- Log in to your freelance account
- Click on your profile drop-down menu
- Select “MY CREDIT”
- Scroll down, under “Credit Withdrawal” click on “Withdraw” button
- Note: To withdraw credit from your available balance, you must submit your banking information
- Enter the amount you would like to withdraw, the minimum is 1k naira or $20
- Select the default payment method “Bank”
- Enter your banking information where you would like the fund to be deposit
- Click on “Withdraw” button
- You will be notified via notification or email once your payment has been approved and processed

Note: Only the employer can fund a project, you have to sign up as an employer in order to post a job
- Log in to your employer account
- Click on your profile drop-down menu
- Select “MY CREDIT”
- Scroll down, under “Top-up Credits” click on “Deposit” Button
- Buy credit buy choosing an appropriate package or deposit a specific amount
- Select the payment method “CASH”, click on the “Select” button
- Currently, we only support cash payment as money transfer or online payment
- Read the transfer to bank account information and follow the step

- Note: Please make sure you reference your name, your username or email so we can easily find you and credit your account

- Find or search for available projects
- Click on the project you would like to bid
- Click on “Bid” button
- Enter your bid amount
- Delivery in days or week
- Add notes: Important to add a note for the employer for consideration and expectation
- Submit your bid for consideration
Note: You have to sign up as an employer to post a job or project
- Log in to your employer account
- Go to the “PROJECT” menu and click on “POST A PROJECT”
- Enter the project details
- Make sure you provide enough information about the project and include job descriptions and the requirements
- When you provide detail information about your project, this will be easier for a freelancer to understand the job requirements
- In addition, this will make it easy for contractor/freelancer to bid toward the project
- We suggest to include milestones, this will allow you to measure the deliverables
- Include expectations, the date you prefer the job to start
- Click on sign up
- Register by filling out the sign-up form
- Use a strong password for protection, combination of letters, characters and numbers
- You can also sign up with your social media account such as Facebook, Google
- Confirm your email, you will receive an email to confirm your account
- Click on the “confirm link” make sure you click on the link
- Note: If you do not confirm your account, you will not be allowed to post a job or bid on a job
- Update your profile
